On January 28, 2011, over 100 students from around the District competed in the 2011 D.C. We the People High School Competition, held at the Georgetown University Law Center, impressing the judges with their display of constitutional knowledge and understanding.
While each student who participated in the We the People program is a winner, only one team can go on to represent the District at this year's National Finals. Congratulations go to the Capitol Hill campus of Cesar Chavez Public Charter High School, for capturing the citywide title for the second consecutive year! Best of luck at the 2011 We the People National Finals!
