The deadline for the ConSource Essay Contest has been extended to October 8th!
The ConSource Constitution Day Essay Contest prompt can be easily integrated with course units on the founding of our country, especially on Constitution Day. The ConSource educational approach asks students to research Founding Era primary source documents to provide a historical framework of our country's founding. Students must identify the different interpretations of this framework and draw conclusions for contemporary application.
The contest has both middle and high school divisions. More details can be found here. Essays must be submitted no later than midnight on October 8, 2010. Winners receive an 8GB iPod Touch.
